Proposed section: Course Participation and Platform Integrity

Section titled “Proposed section: Course Participation and Platform Integrity”

This section is intended to sit within the Terms and Conditions for practice.baseworks.com, most likely under a “Course Participation” or “Platform Access” heading. Patrick and Asia to confirm placement.

Courses on the Baseworks Practice Platform are designed to be worked through progressively, with each lesson completed before the next. Enrollment is an indication that a participant has considered whether their current schedule and circumstances allow for that level of engagement.

If, after enrolling, a participant finds that their schedule or circumstances have changed, or that the current program format is not the right fit for where they are right now, they are encouraged to contact us. We can discuss options: whether to pause, which format better suits their available time, or how to approach the material given their current constraints. The goal is to find an arrangement that makes genuine engagement possible, not to hold a participant to a format that no longer fits their situation.

Each video lesson must be watched in its entirety. Advancing through video content without watching it in full does not constitute completion. Segment feedback must reflect the participant’s own direct experience of the practice — their own observations, difficulties, and questions arising from actually doing the work.

Submissions that are generated using AI tools, or that do not reflect direct engagement with the lesson material, do not meet the completion requirement for that segment.

Baseworks reserves the right to reset course progress, remove submitted feedback, or revoke a participant’s access to the platform when the above conditions have not been met. This applies to, but is not limited to:

  • Lessons recorded as complete without having been watched in full
  • Segment feedback that does not reflect direct personal engagement with the material
  • Completion patterns that are inconsistent with the time required to complete the content

Participants whose progress is reset or whose access is revoked under these conditions will receive notification from the platform. Revocation of access under these conditions does not entitle the participant to a refund.

1. FAQ — Spring 2026 study group page (WP page ID 46997) and future program pages

Section titled “1. FAQ — Spring 2026 study group page (WP page ID 46997) and future program pages”

The existing FAQ on the Spring 2026 study program page already covers time commitment, Primer completion windows, and missed sessions. The new content belongs there as one or two additional FAQ questions — something along the lines of:

Proposed FAQ question (wording to confirm): “What are the expectations for completing the Primer online component?”

Each lesson in the Primer must be watched and worked through in its entirety. Segment feedback must reflect your own direct experience of the practice. If we identify that lessons have been skipped or that feedback submissions do not reflect genuine engagement with the material, your progress may be reset and submissions removed. If your schedule or circumstances change and you’re finding it difficult to engage with the material as intended, contact us — we can discuss options.

Patrick and Asia to confirm exact question wording and whether to split into one or two FAQ items before the live update. The update to this page is done directly via Elementor/WP (not Termageddon — this is page content, not a policy page).

The “Platform Access” section above is the formal policy language for the T&Cs. The English T&C page is managed by Termageddon — submit the approved text to them for integration. The French version (page ID 48334) can be updated directly via WP-CLI.

  • Refund policy confirmed (2026-05-19): No refund when access is revoked for integrity violations — confirmed by Patrick.
  • Background: This draft was prompted by a May 2026 case in which a participant (Primer, Spring 2026 cohort) skipped through multiple lessons within minutes of each other and submitted AI-generated segment feedback for three segments. Course progress was reset, feedback submissions were deleted, and system notification emails were sent. Activity log and flagged submissions archived at Flagged Submissions.
