F 58 BL Open Flex Inflection EN
From reclining transition, bending the knees and bringing the soles of the feet towards each other, keeping the feet quite far away from the pelvis.
So you should, from the top here, see a little bit of a diamond shape with the legs.
Now slowly start to lower the outside edges of the feet down towards the floor.
As the soles of feet are together, the outside edges of the feet are what will touch the floor here. reach the right arm forward again, and sheeding the movement from the shoulder, and the left arm comes forward, upper spine flexion, as you start to lift upright, and you flex the upper spine, resisting that movement with the outside edges of the feet, pressing down to the floor.
And again, undulation, movements with the spine, with the rib cage, and again, allowing for the neck to be completely relaxed here.
You can also move through the neck if you’d like to, continually drawing the shoulders down as we carry through this movement.
Now from spinal flexion, we go to spinal extension again, trying to get that quality of that movement down by lifting through the chest as we lift upright and again gauging or adjusting the position of the spine being more upright or more forward depending on your level of flexibility.
Continually resisting the shoulders downward as the crown of the head moves upward, opposing that movement.
To release as we flex the upper spine here, we tuck and tilt back, finding that pivot point where the legs or the feet, so it just come up off the floor, allowing for the forearms to come down to the floor, dynamically activating the legs forward, pressing through the balls of the feet, coming back into an active reclining transition.
