Segment Feedback — Cyclicity: Luchida Michel
Section titled “Segment Feedback — Cyclicity: Luchida Michel”Most interesting
Section titled “Most interesting”Actually that was my favorite segment , this actually really depicts the intensity monitoring depending on how I feel in my body and how to adapt to Baseworks figures. I realized also how much my brain as been conditioned before to focus on what I’m doing ( performance) vs observing how I am executing it . intensity and cycling are concepts that should be allies for me to be able to relearn the process of movement through Baseworks . It’ s a bit crazy because I have noticed that as a ceritfied fitness coach , for most of my lifestyle I keep guiding them to respecting the cycle of their body I do monitor the level or intensity depending on how they feel one day. It’s funny how as a professionnal all this disapears when it comes to my own body. Like you mentionned in a segment I will choose complete rest over intensity monitoring. Patrick did say something in class that did stick to me. It s ok if I dont go deep as long as I do some of the movement with the capacity I have , I still practice , because there is no progress in Baseworks. NOW I UNDERSTAND ( it just clicked)

Movement habits / changes noticed
Section titled “Movement habits / changes noticed”I can tell for a fact that there has been an improvement in my dance practice since I started the class. I have less soreness in dance as I respect my body limits more, even if the dance teacher insists I either name my today ‘s limit clearly or I ask them for an alternative low intesity movement to mark in the choregraphy practice and still keep on dancing with the collective.
