Baseworks at Neuropsychology Day 2026: Degrees-of-Freedom Control in Non-Habitual Movement
Body (HTML for post_content)
Section titled “Body (HTML for post_content)”Join us at the 27th Annual Neuropsychology Day & Brenda Milner Lecture, hosted at the Montreal Neurological Institute (The Neuro), on Monday, May 11, 2026. Baseworks co-developer and research associate Ksenia (Asia) Shcherbakova returns this year to present our latest research on degrees-of-freedom control in non-habitual movement, titled "Predictable Failure Patterns in Non-Habitual Movement: Evidence for Undertrained Degrees-of-Freedom Control." The work documents a class of predictable failure patterns in healthy adults, where movement coordination consistently breaks down in specific tasks regardless of general movement experience, and points to a central process that appears systematically undertrained in the adult population.
The Neuro, a renowned leader in neuroscience innovation and open science, hosts Neuropsychology Day annually to honor the legacy of pioneer Brenda Milner. The event brings together researchers, students, and professionals to share work on learning, memory, attention, and neuropsychology.

This year's keynote lecture, "Neurobiological Basis of Psychosis," will be delivered by Dr. Bruce L. Miller, A.W. and Mary Margaret Clausen Distinguished Professor of Neurology at UCSF. Alongside the keynote and oral sessions, Ksenia will be presenting our current work on how Baseworks continues to contribute new perspectives on movement, perception, and motor control.
Date: Monday, May 11, 2026 (Baseworks will be presenting from 2:30 pm to 3:45 pm)
The event is free of charge and open to the public.

WP-CLI SSH pattern
Section titled “WP-CLI SSH pattern”SSH alias baseworks-web is NOT configured on Patrick’s Mac. Use:
ssh bwsite_primo_82@5.180.253.171 "cd /var/www/baseworks.com && wp [command] 2>/dev/null"Filter PHP deprecation notices — they emit to stdout, never capture WP-CLI output into shell variables for meta field values.
