2026-04-08 21:45 ET — CSS icon backslash issue — RESOLVED same session

Section titled “2026-04-08 21:45 ET — CSS icon backslash issue — RESOLVED same session”

Added by Claude Code on Patrick’s Mac

Resolved: Payment Methods icon rule moved from Customizer CSS to child theme assets/css/custom.css. Both old (e8e6) and current (\ee42) rules removed from Customizer CSS post 404. Backslashes are now permanently safe from wp_kses sanitization.

Section titled “[ ] 2026-04-08 12:30 ET | Campaign status: Proprioceptive Awareness + BRNet — Asia responded, LinkedIn draft exists”

Added by Claude Code on Patrick’s Mac

Campaign note: 2026-04-proprioceptive-awareness-brnet File path: 02-areas/communications/campaigns/2026-04-proprioceptive-awareness-brnet/2026-04-proprioceptive-awareness-brnet.md

Asia answered 4 of 5 open questions (Q5 still pending — newsletter #2 scope). Decisions are now recorded in the Open Questions section of the campaign note.

LinkedIn article draft exists (~950 words, titled “The Mystery of Proprioceptive Awareness: Four Years Later”). Produced by Claude Code on Asia’s Mac Mini. Status: Asia reviewing. The draft is in the campaign note under “LinkedIn Article — Draft.”

Key decisions made:

  • Q1: Shorter LinkedIn version (~950w), not the full 3,500w article
  • Q2: Detective/journey framing — “four years ago I published this, didn’t expect how deep the mystery was.” Leads with questionnaire data and Luu paper. Internal changes (removed sections, added references) are not front-facing
  • Q3: BRNet announcement goes out between the two newsletters
  • Q4: Instagram visual — three dichotomies diagram, maybe the data. Not the DCML. Asia still thinking
  • Q5: Still thinking

Still needed before drafting remaining deliverables:

  • Asia to finish reviewing the LinkedIn draft and confirm or edit
  • Q4 and Q5 decisions
  • Newsletter #1 copy (newsletter section, Brain Fodder, header/greeting)
  • Baseworks company LinkedIn post (unified voice)
  • Patrick’s personal LinkedIn post (your voice)
  • Instagram and Facebook copy
  • Newsletter #2 planning (once Q5 is resolved)

To pick up tomorrow: Open a Claude Code session and point it at the campaign note. All context is there.

2026-03-12 16:15 ET — KB deploy failures — Cloudflare timeouts and GitHub auth errors

Section titled “2026-03-12 16:15 ET — KB deploy failures — Cloudflare timeouts and GitHub auth errors”

Added by Claude Code on Patrick’s Mac

Context: The KB site deploy (GitHub Actions → Cloudflare Pages) failed 5 times on 2026-03-11, triggering repeated Slack alerts from Baseworks Agent. Despite what the alerts suggest, this is not an Obsidian formatting issue — the Astro build itself succeeds. The failures are at the infrastructure level.

Two distinct errors found:

1. Cloudflare API timeout (3 runs — 16:22, 16:32, 16:42 ET on 2026-03-11):

✘ [ERROR] Received a malformed response from the API
upstream request timeout
GET /accounts/***/pages/projects/baseworks-kb -> 504 Gateway Timeout

Wrangler uploads the build output, then Cloudflare’s API times out responding. Likely a transient Cloudflare issue — these three runs were within 20 minutes of each other.

2. GitHub 401 fetching Wrangler action (2 runs — 22:57, 23:02 ET on 2026-03-11):

Failed to download action 'cloudflare/wrangler-action' — 401 (Unauthorized)

GitHub couldn’t fetch the cloudflare/wrangler-action@v3 tarball. Transient GitHub infrastructure issue.

Current status: Builds are succeeding again as of 2026-03-12. The most recent runs all passed.

Options to discuss:

  1. Do nothing — these were transient infra issues (Cloudflare + GitHub), not code problems. They self-resolved.
  2. Add retry logic to the GitHub Actions workflow so a single Cloudflare timeout doesn’t immediately fail and alert.
  3. Reduce alert noise — the n8n workflow fires a Slack alert on every failed run. Could batch or debounce so 3 failures in 20 minutes doesn’t mean 3 separate alerts.
  4. Pin Wrangler action to a specific release tag instead of v3 to reduce dependency on GitHub tarball availability.

Failed run links:

Also noted: GitHub is warning that Node.js 20 actions (checkout@v4, setup-node@v4, wrangler-action@v3) will be forced to Node.js 24 starting June 2026. Not urgent but worth updating eventually.

Requested action: Pick this up when you have time. No code fix needed — just decide if you want retry logic or alert debouncing added.

Section titled “2026-03-12 22:18 ET — Stale cache monitor deployed — running every 30 min”

Set up by Claude Code on baseworks-agents VPS

Script: ~/scripts/stale-cache-monitor.sh Log: ~/scripts/stale-cache-monitor.log Cron: */30 * * * *

What it tests (7 pages): /, /primer/, /events/, /blog/, /baseworks-key-principles/, /neuroscience/, /ja/

Tests per URL:

  1. Follow redirects → flag if >3 hops or final status ≠ 200
  2. WPML cookies (=en, =ja) → flag if status or hop count changes
  3. No trailing slash → flag if not a clean 2xx/3xx redirect to trailing-slash version
  4. x-cache and Age headers → flag if STALE, ERROR, or Age >24h

On failure: CF cache auto-purged for failing URL + inbox item added + pushed

Implementation note: Tests run via SSH to baseworks-web (curl https://localhost/ -H "Host: baseworks.com"), bypassing Cloudflare Bot Fight Mode (which blocks direct curl from this VPS and can’t be IP-allowlisted on the current CF plan). Origin nginx x-cache header is used in place of CF-Cache-Status.

Test run: Passed clean — all 7 pages returned 200 / x-cache: HIT. This item can be marked done.

2026-03-12 15:00 ET — QMD no_embed exclusion — replicate on your Mac + VPS

Section titled “2026-03-12 15:00 ET — QMD no_embed exclusion — replicate on your Mac + VPS”

Added by Claude Code on Asia’s Mac Mini

Asia and Claude Code have implemented a mechanism to exclude specific vault notes from the QMD semantic search index. Notes with no_embed: true (or no_embed: "true") in their frontmatter are excluded from all qmd queries after each nightly embed run. Notes remain directly readable by path — they just won’t appear in search results.

What was done: Wrapper script (~/scripts/qmd-embed-filtered.sh) created on Asia’s Mac Mini, Patrick’s Mac, and VPS. LaunchAgent/cron updated on all three to call the wrapper instead of qmd embed directly. QMD setup doc updated.

Proposed not adding a checkbox to the Study Group “Join the Program” button (existing text is adequate). Proposed adding a checkbox to the Practice Sessions intake form instead of a checkout-widget checkbox.

Section titled “2026-03-09 ET — Practice Sessions event widget links now point to campaign page”

Added by Claude Code on VPS

Context: The event post at /event/montreal-practice-sessions-spring-2026/ (ID 47542) is intentionally minimal — it exists so the event shows up in sidebar widgets, the events archive, and the front page. The main destination for visitors is /montreal-practice-sessions/.

What was done: Added a Fluent Snippet (41-redirect-practice-sessions-event.php) using WordPress’s post_type_link filter. It intercepts get_permalink() for post ID 47542 and returns https://baseworks.com/montreal-practice-sessions/ instead.

2026-03-08 — Fathom Analytics in Privacy Policy — confirm still in use

Section titled “2026-03-08 — Fathom Analytics in Privacy Policy — confirm still in use”

Added by Claude Code on Asia’s Mac Mini

Context: While reviewing the March 7 Privacy Policy update, Asia noticed that the updated policy now lists Fathom Analytics under the “Analytics Programs” section. She believes Baseworks may have stopped using Fathom.

Action needed: Confirm whether Fathom Analytics is still active on any Baseworks site. If it’s been removed, the Privacy Policy (EN + FR) will need to be updated to remove it from the analytics disclosure.

Affected files if Fathom is no longer in use:

  • current-policies/privacy-policy.md
  • french-policies/privacy-policy-fr.md
  • WordPress pages: Privacy Policy (ID 41428) and Politique de confidentialité (ID 48335)

2026-03-05 13:00 ET — Session 7 Summary: Asia’s responses to two verification items

Section titled “2026-03-05 13:00 ET — Session 7 Summary: Asia’s responses to two verification items”

Added by Claude Code on Asia’s MacBook Air

Document: session-7-summary-en Requested action: Apply Asia’s two decisions to the document.

1. YAML foci field — decision: Use the list: ASCEND, CONVERGE, EQUATE, EXPAND, GRAVITY, INFLECT, INTENT, STRUCTURE, TORSION, TRANSIT, TRANSPOSE.

Note from Asia: EXPAND was not a primary focus in Study Group sessions, but some aspects of it were practiced. If a student explicitly asks about it on the forum, Asia is happy to respond in detail there — no mention needed in the summary itself.

2. “(STRUCTURE > GRAVITY, following the principle of Fixing-Separating-Isolating)” — clarification: The ”>” means STRUCTURE is prerequisite to GRAVITY. STRUCTURE forms use DA and MM to explore what it feels like to be in specific positions (e.g., ribcage-pelvis stacked in standing upright). GRAVITY forms work the same body part conformations at other angles to gravity — so students are finding in GRAVITY what they already learned in STRUCTURE. Students would never do Star Tilt without having done the Star Form first; never do a Plank without having done the Standing Form first.

Please rephrase the notation in the document to make this prerequisite relationship explicit rather than relying on the ”>” symbol.

Section titled “2026-03-03 15:00 ET — Session 7 Summary (EN): Ready for your review”

Added by Claude Code on one of Asia’s machines (predates per-machine attribution)

Document: session-7-summary-en Requested action: Final approval of English version before French translation proceeds Summary of Asia’s editorial pass:

  • Added methodological section headers throughout the forms section (TRANSPOSE, TRANSIT, INFLECT, CONVERGE, GRAVITY, EQUATE, ASCEND) — organizes forms by focus rather than sequence alone
  • Significantly expanded EQUATE form descriptions: the in-form transitional position (heel-sit leaning back, spine rounded, arms forward) is now explicit between rounds
  • Added full Z-Lunge side-transition sequence (Suspension included)
  • Shortened Assimilation section — was disproportionately long relative to Ignition; now proportional
  • Standardized “exit” terminology throughout (replacing “release”)
  • Added the Fluid Run note introducing the SAIFA acronym (slow, active, intentional, fluid, agile)
  • Reframed “What We Did Not Cover” from a list of omissions to a positive closing statement

One open question for Patrick: The SAIFA acronym appears for the first time in the Fluid Run note. Is this the right place and framing to introduce it, or does it need more context?

Guidelines updates pending your confirmation:

  • Two proposed additions to _session-summary-guidelines.md (see Asia’s inbox for detail — she is confirming these first)
  • Once Asia confirms, Claude will flag them here for your awareness

Section titled “2026-03-03 15:15 ET — SAIFA acronym: confirm for general use?”

Added by Claude Code on one of Asia’s machines (predates per-machine attribution)

Context: Asia introduced the acronym SAIFA (Slow, Active, Intentional, Fluid, Agile) in the Session 7 summary, in a note about the Fluid Run section. The phrase comes directly from Primer transcript 05.02 — The Quality of Movement Transitions (“the quality of movement, slow, active, intentional, fluid, and agile”). Asia added the acronym in brackets in that transcript. The acronym previously appeared in a temporary lesson note before being replaced with a longer summary.

Question for Patrick: Are you comfortable adopting SAIFA as a standard acronym going forward — in summaries and other documents where this quality of movement is described? If yes, it can be used consistently. If no, or if it needs a different framing, flag for discussion.

No urgency — whenever.

2026-03-03 16:45 ET — Inbox check system — for your CLAUDE.md

Section titled “2026-03-03 16:45 ET — Inbox check system — for your CLAUDE.md”

Added by Claude Code on one of Asia’s machines (predates per-machine attribution)

What this is: Asia and Patrick now have personal inboxes in the vault (00-inbox/patrick-inbox.md and 00-inbox/asia-inbox.md). Claude adds items when something needs your attention — review requests, open questions, guideline confirmations. Full protocol: WORKFLOW-PROTOCOL.

The inbox check: Claude is configured to glance at the relevant inbox at the start of any vault session and surface open items — so nothing gets forgotten between sessions.

To set this up on your machine: Add the following to your ~/.claude/CLAUDE.md (the global Claude Code file on your machine — check if it already exists first with cat ~/.claude/CLAUDE.md):

## Baseworks Obsidian Vault
If the current session involves anything related to the Baseworks knowledge base or Obsidian vault, read the vault's instructions file before proceeding:
~/Obsidian/baseworks-kb-shared-brain/CLAUDE.md
This applies regardless of which directory Claude Code was launched from, and regardless of whether you are working in Claude Desktop or terminal.

The vault’s CLAUDE.md (already in place at the vault root) handles the rest — it tells Claude to check your inbox and surface any open items. To confirm it’s working after setup, tell Claude: “Check the vault CLAUDE.md and then check my inbox.”

Action: Add the above to your ~/.claude/CLAUDE.md, or tell Asia/Claude if you already have one and it needs to be merged rather than overwritten.
