[Introduction] He runs a farm while living a half-native lifestyle centered on nature — from rafting to backcountry snowboarding. We went to meet Dennis van den Brink, a CEO-farmer managing a farm in Hokkaido. Having lived in Japan for 11 years since 1999, he spoke about his unique life and the joys of organic farming.

I grew up in a small agricultural town called Ermelo in the Netherlands. My family worked in healthcare, specializing in supporting patients with early-stage psychiatric conditions.
