Intensity moderation. A great thing for me to work on. I’m not sure why things become intense for me far more quickly than usual right now but being able to find where I’m confortable has been very instructive.

In the Intent practice, I feel my hamstrings as soon as my back is straight and probably even a bit before. I will bring a block to class tomorrow to sit on.

I am now telling myself several times a day, “Draw your shoulders down.” A couple of weeks ago, they would go back up as soon as I thought of something else. Now they stay down a little bit longer. In the last week, I’ve noticed the region lower lumbar and sacrum, I’ve become conscious of trying to get them to separate, scrum down, lumber up.

I truly appreciated having the point form of the videos for the first two segments. I would read the summary, then watch the video and then reread the summary. I found that very helpful to increase my understanding of what was being presented.
