From a kneeling position, have the hands stacked right underneath the shoulders, no wider than the shoulders width apart.

Step one leg at a time back until your upper torso and legs are really active and straight in one line.

Draw the shoulders down towards the hips and the crown of the head moves forward.

Lift the heels up enough so that the soles of the feet are more or less perpendicular to the floor. the legs by gripping the toes back and press the palms into the floor by gripping them forward as you release as you draw the shoulders down towards the hip.

Now from this foundation here we want to pivot forward as we hug the arms into the side of the torso and bend the elbows down into ideally towards a 90 degree position with the elbows.

But by no means you have to go down so far if If you can just gauge how much you can keep the upper torso from not beveling as we move in the movement forward and down.

The most important thing here is that you keep the straight line from the crown of the head right through to the heels.

And if you don’t have enough strength to be able to go all the way down to a 90 degree elbow position, then you would just only micro bend the elbows as you move forward.
