Dear Katja,
Thank you for your patience with us on this. I’m sorry to be coming to you with a change again: we need to cancel our booking in DOCK 11 Saal 1 for October 24 and 25, 2026.
The reason is a bigger one than we expected. We’re moving to Europe at the beginning of December 2026. This wasn’t our original plan, but some academic opportunities came up for Baseworks that call for us to be based in Europe, so we can build out the research-based applications of the method. With the move only a few weeks after that weekend, a trip to Berlin just beforehand would make the move logistically challenging. We’ll be deep in preparations to leave Canada by then.
Rather than cancel outright, we’d much prefer to move the event to 2027. Could you check your availability in the same window, from either late spring (April/May) or late October through the middle of November 2027? We just need you to confirm what’s available in either of these two time frames.
We completely understand if this creates a conflict on your end. If it does, we’re happy to cover the full cost for the October 24-25, 2026 weekend. Just send us an invoice and we’ll take care of it. We’re genuinely looking forward to conducting an educational event at DOCK 11, and we want to make it happen.
