We’ve included the time details so you can estimate your commitment and plan accordingly.
Please do your best to stay on this assignment schedule. It really helps create a shared foundation for our in-person sessions.

Section titled “Patrick (admin) — 2026-01-26 00:52”Hi everyone,
(You’re receiving this both via email and as a message on the platform.)
We’re following up on the message we posted on the platform yesterday. We hope you’re settling into the course’s rhythm!
We’re happy to see great questions on the forum. We’ve also added some follow-up posts that we think will support your understanding of the last session and help with your ongoing study:
-
WATCH! On Being “In Your Head” – A Funny (and Revealing) Observation – A follow-up on our conversation about being disembodied
-
Asia’s post on Star Tilt – Following up on a question from the end of Saturday’s session
Please check out the forum to see these posts and the interaction that’s already happening.
Quick reminder: Our next session is Tuesday evening (January 27, 18:10-19:50). Since it’s Sunday night, we wanted to encourage you to take the time to work through your assignment over the next couple of days if you haven’t started yet. As mentioned on the group post, we really don’t recommend cramming. Allowing for a bit of space to revisit lessons and digest the content generally works better for preparation for the in-person sessions.
Assignment Due Tuesday: Complete Segment 3, lessons 3.1-3.8 (through 3.8 Applied Practice Lab: Converge) Total time: approximately 56 minutes
Session 1 Resources:
- Session 1 Summary – Detailed recap of everything we covered
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
Looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday.

Section titled “Patrick (admin) — 2026-01-26 14:37”**Technical Issue with “Done” Button - Please Share Your Experience **
Hi everyone,
Genevieve recently shared an important observation in our group feed about the “Done” button not appearing after watching videos in their entirety, which means the content must be re-watched before the button becomes visible. A few of you have liked this post, which suggests others may be experiencing something similar.
We want to address this promptly, but we need more information to understand what’s happening. If you’re experiencing this issue—or any other technical difficulties with the platform—please post the details as a new discussion topic in our sub-forum: “Technical difficulties: 2026 Winter Cohort”
The more specific information we receive (exactly what you’re experiencing, which lessons, screenshots if possible), the faster we can work toward a solution.
In your discussion topic under this subform, please include the following information:
-
Which lesson or section you were accessing
-
What specifically happened (or didn’t happen)
-
Any error messages you received
-
Screenshots or screen recordings if possible
-
What device/browser you’re using
If you see a post describing an issue you’re also experiencing, please comment to let us know—this helps us understand how widespread the problem is and prioritize accordingly.
Thank you for helping us improve the platform experience for everyone.
