Greetings ! I am a fitness instructor focusing on Qigong and functional breathing coaching with a background in massage therapy and a lifelong passion for the embodied arts. I am feeling a call to teach more mobility, body-listening and self-compassion through movement. Your class feels perfect ! However, I am travelling and can already see that I will miss the second and third class! Do you still recommend that I sign up? Is there another cohort in Montreal in the next few months? Thanks so much !

| Physical Background | Strong fit | Fitness instructor, Qigong, functional breathing, massage therapy — multi-disciplinary embodied background |
| Professional Profile | Strong fit | Movement educator/practitioner; actively looking to deepen teaching vocabulary around mobility and body-listening |

Attendance concern: She anticipates missing sessions 2 and 3 due to travel. Per Patrick’s guidance, missing these sessions is not an issue — the online component (fixed assignments, accessible from anywhere) provides continuity, and session summaries are available for missed in-person sessions.
Future cohort question: She asks whether there’s another cohort in Montreal in the coming months. Answer should reflect whatever is currently planned — left for Patrick to confirm or address directly if needed.

Hello Sylvia,
Thank you for your message. Your background in Qigong, functional breathing, and massage therapy is relevant to what we do. Participants with diverse physical and professional backgrounds often find that the program addresses dimensions of movement study they haven’t encountered elsewhere. We think you’d find the program relevant and interesting.
Missing the second and third sessions is not a problem. The program has a structured online component: fixed assignments you can complete from anywhere, at your own pace. This is not supplemental material — it is half of how the learning works. The online preparation shapes what you get out of the in-person sessions, and the in-person sessions give context to what you’ve been doing online.
For sessions you miss, we post summaries so you can follow what was covered.
With that said, we do encourage people to attend in person as much as possible. Participants consistently get the most out of the program when both components are active. Missing a couple of early sessions however is manageable, given the in between assignments are dialed in.
As for future cohorts, we don’t currently have another Montreal cohort scheduled immediately following the spring program. If that changes, it will be announced through our usual channels.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.
Patrick
