Section titled “Most interesting”Understanding that the brain is responsible for the depth of my ‘stretch’ and that it varies per day and stress level and how activation can help reset the safety point - I think…I am particularly intrigued to reflect on translating the Japanese architecture ‘s adaptability to external forces to an organizational and cognitive model. I also understand now why I feel so sore 2-3 days later when I thought everything was cool while exercicing…I wasn’t consciously reflecting on what I was doing…
Unusual or difficult to understand
Section titled “Unusual or difficult to understand”I am having a hard time to do the exercices - I blame my lack of flexibility practice and over use of big muscles in CrossFit.
Movement habits / changes noticed
Section titled “Movement habits / changes noticed”I notice subtle changes in my posture and breathing…feeling more upright and stacked without really thinking about it.
What could have been better
Section titled “What could have been better”Have some really out of shape in the demos to see more variation. :-) I can’t even support myself on my elbows with chest up. Maybe I am not the right audience.
