Study Group Infrastructure
Technical reference for Study Group purchase flow, access provisioning, and Uncanny Automator automations.

What a Study Group Purchase Grants
Section titled “What a Study Group Purchase Grants”Every Study Group cohort includes two types of access:
- Study Group cohort access — unlocks the cohort-specific BuddyBoss community and corresponding LearnDash/dashboard content on practice.baseworks.com, via a cohort-specific WP Fusion tag
- Primer access — the
subscription-plan_PRIMER COURSEtag is added at the WooCommerce product level (WP Fusion product tag rule), granting access to the Primer course on the practice site; deadline management is handled by a separate Uncanny Automator recipe

Both 45084 and 45112 grant the same access (same WP Fusion tag); the price difference is the campaign discount. Both are currently published.

Recipe 41083 uses a unified WCPURCHPRODUCTINTAG trigger on the WooCommerce “Primer” product tag (as of 2026-03-04). All Study Group products (Winter and Spring) have been tagged “Primer” in WooCommerce.

Alumni Status — How It Connects
Section titled “Alumni Status — How It Connects”Study Group completion is one of the qualifying criteria for the Track Alumni (ID: 97) tag, which unlocks alumni pricing for Practice Sessions. The tag is applied manually by the team when a participant meets the eligibility criteria (5+ in-person sessions within the cohort timeframe). All currently eligible participants have been tagged.
Known Cleanup Items
Section titled “Known Cleanup Items”- 34688 (Study Group Regular Access) and 34141 (Study Group Access - Closed): Legacy products, published but not linked to any current cohort. Should be taken off-sale or set to draft.
- Study Group - Course tag: Outdated. Verify no practice site content is gated by it before removing.
- 45736 [MTL-SG26] Assignment Email: Patch recipe, currently draft. Do not activate until the broader Study Group communication strategy is designed. See infrastructure note for context.
